My girlfriend is a big fan of magnetic lashes, they can be bought from China at a good price, but they come in a cheap cardboard box and as they are often brought to parties and carried around in handbags, this box will come apart and the lashes will break. So she asked me if I could design and print something more durable and dedicate a larger space for the separately available magnetic glue. Challenge accepted!

At first I considered how I would want to design such a case. I oppted for a sliding case with a cutout and a groove for the fingernail to open it. Then I printed the first prototype and I found that the "drawer" would fall out to easily, therefore Î added a notch and an other groove to keep the insert in place. 

Voilà! The finished lash-box!
